LIFE – Let It Flow Easy!!
Once a proud Samurai asked the Zen Master :
“I want to know about heaven and hell,” demanded the Samurai. “Do they really exist?” he asked the Master.
The Master looked at the soldier and asked, “Who are you?”
“I am a Samurai,” announced the proud warrior.
“Ha!” exclaimed the Master. “What makes you think you can understand such insightful things? You are merely a callous, brutish soldier! Go away and do not waste my time with your foolish questions. Words as wise as this are not meant for fools like you,” the Master said, waving his hand to drive away the Samurai.
The enraged Samurai couldn’t take the Masters insult. With rage and anger, the Samurai drew his sword, to behead the Master, when the Master calmly retorted, “Son, This is hell.”
The Samurai was taken aback and just in nick of time stopped the sword just an inch before the neck of the Master. His face softened. Humbled by the wisdom, he put away his sword, sighed in relief and bowed before the Zen Master.
And this is heaven,” the Master stated, just as calmly.

Heaven and Hell are nothing but states our mind. Once we are able to wrap our heads around the Law of Duality, it becomes easier to understand the cyclical pattern of highs and lows, ups and downs, happiness and sadness, all as part of our experiences, everything that sums up all of life.  Negativity or negative people or negative emotions is nothing but the other side of coin. The two wolves, the positive and the negative voices in our head will continue to fight seeking our attention, and the one we feed will always win. One day the positive wolf becomes stronger and the other day the negative wolf becomes stronger. The day the negative wolf becomes stronger, or there is more negativity around us because other people that we interact with are busy feeding their negative wolf, some pointers to help us bring back to the centeredness of our heart.

Step back by creating space from the environment that is feeding itself on the negativity. Practice detachment, not indifference.

Know that the option to choose our actions is always there. So choose your action by choice and not based on emotions. Your emotions are energy in motion, and trace it back to the thoughts that are triggering those very emotions.  Choose your actions from a place of being in charge of your life and your life experience. This is how Masters live.

Take it as an opportunity to change something that is self limiting within you. Your mental space , your inner world is your sacred space.  Be careful of what you let in.

If there is nothing that can be done to change the situation, then flow like a river around the boulder. Don’t fight it. Go with the flow. The river doesn’t resist the boulders that it comes across on its way and stops its flow.

Take support of Wisdom. It never fails. Once the fire of wisdom is lit, it will continue to burn and let the light flow.

–     Practice gratitude. There is always enough to be grateful for. There is enough abundance in life itself, in knowing that one is alive. Resist the unconscious habit of focusing on the lack.

–     Remember time, energy, effort once spent do not come back.  Be wise in choosing where you invest them.
